Welcome to the page of Mario Ramirez, one of Mexico’s best showmen
His control of the stage, and of his audience is amazing! He makes dozens of impersonations in Spanish flawlessly: from a hilarious gangbanger named Goofy, yes the cartoon character whose voice in Spanish happens to be Ramirez’, to practically bringing back to life El Che Guevara for History Channel’s film“The True Story of Che Guevara” Mario’s portrayal of the controversial revolutionary man is so good that it is difficult to know when the footage of the real Che starts, and when it finishes. The same happens when the film “ No Hay Derecho Joven! ” presents Mario as the unforgettable Charles Chaplin of Mexican Cinema, Mario Moreno Cantinflas, the beloved Passepartout from the film “Around the world in 80 days.” Not since the late comedian was alive, have his mannerisms been so meticulously portrayed.
Mario’s own characters have also been showcased in all the main networks in Spanish (Telemundo, Televisa & Univision). Whether he transforms himself into larger than life characters, or into simple ordinary men like the inspiring mechanic named Chendo in the film “The Price of the American Dream,” Mario does not stop reinventing himself. You are certainly bound to catch a great show, if you happen to be in any of the Latin American or North American cities where he currently performs. >>
